This is a 10* TOP TOTAL on the UNDER Als/Riders.

I've been on the OVER in the first two CFL games this week, but I'm expecting more of a defensive affair here in Saskatechewan on Saturday night.

These teams played last week in Montreal and the Als broke a season-opening two-game slide with a decisive 37-13 victory. The loss drops the Riders to 2-1.

Now they shift the series to Saskatchewan and in my opinion, all signs point to a lower-scoring battle.

The Als lost both games on the road to open the season, and I think they'll struggle again here away from friendly confines.

The Riders come in with immediate revenge on their minds, but they also come in forced to play with a new "game-plan," with star WR Shaq Evans now out with a broken ankle, which he suffered in the first quarter last weekend.

The offensive line uncharacteristically surrendered eight sacks, and Cody Fajardo and Mason Fine threw a combined three interceptions.

Those are problems that this veteran Saskatchewan team can fix though. Look for the home side to be much better defensively this week as well.

All signs point to the UNDER as the correct call in this one.
