Seattle went into the All Star break on a 14-game win streak, but it stumbled in its first series in the second half, going 0-3 at home to the Astros.

Seattle though has refound its form, going on to sweep the Texans at home in three straight after the series loss to Houston.

With revenge on their minds, and momentum on their side, I look for the Mariners to, at the very least, keep this one competitive until the final moments.

Houston on the other hand enters with zero momentum after getting swept on the road in Oakland in three games.

Logan Gilbert (10-4, 2.77 ERA) gets the nod for the visitors, and he'll be opposed by Jose Urquidy (9-4, 3.93.) For argument's sake, let's call these starters a "wash."

Seattle is 7-2 in its last nine in trying to avenge three or more straight losses against an opponent.

This one is going to be tight, so consider the MARINERS on the RUNLINE.
