The Nationals lost their five-game series to the Miami Marlins 3-2. They split two doubleheaders including one on Sunday where they lost the first game 2-1 and won the second 15-0. The Nationals will turn to Anibal Sanchez for today's start. He has made nine starts this season and has posted a 2-5 record with a 7.38 ERA.

The Phillies are 12-4 in their last 16 games as a favorite. The Nationals are 7-16 in their last 23 games as an underdog. In Sanchez's last outing against the Phillies, he lasted just 3.1 innings and gave up four runs (three earned) off nine hits. Wheeler has been really good for the Phillies this season and I look for that to continue against a Nationals team that has little to play for.
