The New York Yankees have not played well since the break but they still lead the AL East. Jameson Taillon will make the start for the Yankees against Michael Wacha for the Red Sox. It will be his first start since June 28th. Taillon has faced the Red Sox twice this year, going 1-0 in 11 innings, allowing seven runs on nine hits with a walk and eight strikeouts. Taillon has pitched better as of late while Wacha has not pitched in 6 weeks because of an injury. So far in August, the Yankees have posted a 4.10 team ERA while Bostonhaas a 4.93 team ERA. The Yankees got a win yesterday and I am backing them to get one here. Wacha is coming off an injury and I expect the Yankees to get some runs off him or the pen.
