The Toronto Blue Jays are in a tight battle for an AL Wild Card spot with Baltimore and Minnesota. They will try to retain thier lead over both teams by sending Jose Berrios to the mound against the Red Sox Brayan Bello. Boston is 6-4 in their last ten, while Toronto is 5-5 in their last 10. Berrios is 9-5 this season with a 5.39 ERA and a 1.368 WHIP. In his last three starts, he is 1-1 with an 8.79 ERA, and a 1.74 WHIP. Bello is coming off the IL for today's start and he has posted a 0-3 record this season with an 8.47 ERA and a 2,28 WHIP. Toronto took last night's game 9-3. Berrios has been inconsistent all season but is coming off a nice start against the Yankees last time out. Bello is coming off the IL and has not pitched well before that. The Blue Jays' bats were hot last night and should remain that way against Bello. Bello will probably not go long in this one so the Jays should have plenty of chances against the Red Sox pen.
