BIG 10 DOMINATOR 10* GAME OF THE WEEK
(NCAAF) Illinois vs. Indiana,
Point Spread: 3.50 | -110.00 Illinois (Away)
Result: Win
Indiana is basically starting from scratch this season as they bring in a new offensive and defensive coordinators, a new quarterback, running backs, and wide receivers. It may be a blessing in disguise as last year's Hoosier team went 2-10 last season and 0-9 in Big Ten play. Head coach Tom Allen brought in five new assistant coaches and 12 players from the transfer portal. There is a lot of improvement needed as the Hoosiers ranked last in the Big Ten in total offense, with less than 300 yards a game and 18 points a game. They had just four touchdown passes in nine Big Ten games. Missouri transfer Connor Bazelak will be the starter. At Missouri, he completed 66 percent of his passes but had a 23-to-17 touchdown-to-interception ratio. None of their top four runningbacks or leading receivers return from last year's team. The Hoosiers averaged 3.2 yards a carry and allowed 29 sacks. The defense will also have to play better as they allowed 33.2 points a game, which ranked last in the Big Ten. Illinois played in Week zero and came away with a 38-6 win over an overmatched Wyoming team. Illinois was able to establish an identity on how they wanted to play on offense and it was successful. Devito completed 27 of 34 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Brown rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns. The Illini were 5–7 last season but have gotten off to a good start so far. Illinois also brought in a new offensive coordinator. Quarterback Tommy DeVito come over from Syracuse and looked good in his first start for Illinois. Even though their first game was against Wyoming, you can overlook the experience they can take from it and they were able to shake off that early season rust. Indiana was bad last season and will be trying to work in a lot of new players at key positions as well as new coaches. I look for the game action Illinois has already seen, will be a benefit to them in this one.

Play on ILLINOIS. This is a 10* play.
