The Minnesota Twins will look to bounce back after dropping game one of their series with the Chicago White Sox. The Twins will send Tyler Mahle to the mound to face off against Dylan Cease. Cease leads the team in wins, innings, WAR, strikeouts, and K/9. He is 5-3 at home this season with a 2.66 ERA and a 12.3 K/9 average. He is 1-0 against the Twins this season after allowing just one hit in seven shutout innings. Mahle has not pitched in over two weeks. Cease most part. Cease should go deep into this game and the back end of the Sox pen has been pretty reliable. Minnesota has won six of the ten between the two teams this season but the White Sox have won four of the last five meetings. Both teams are in a must-win situation but the Sox have the better starter.
