Hill is 1-0 in two starts against the Rays this season and has yet to allow a run. Boston has the fifth worst bullpen ERA in baseball and has the most blown saves this season. Rasmussen is 3-0 with a 1.53 ERA in his last five starts. Rasmussen has faced Boston once this season without a record and an ERA of 4.50. Hill has pitched better since coming off the IL and since he can't go deep into this game it is hard to trust the Sox pen to do anything but give up runs. The Rays are getting the job done and pulling the Yankees closer, a win here adds more pressure.
