The Cleveland Guardians will look for the sweep over the Kansas City Royals as they wrap up their three-game set.w Cleveland has won eight of its first 12 meetings this season. The Guardians will send Cody Morris to the mound in what in all likelihood will be a bullpen game. Morris made his major-league debut last Friday, giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits in two innings. Zack Greinke will be on the mound for the Royals. He is 1-0 in two starts against Cleveland this season, allowing just one run on eight hits in 10.2 innings. On the season, he has posted a 4-8 record with a 4.14 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP. I do not expect Morris to go deep in this one and that might not be a bad thing. The Guardian relievers have posted a 1.96 ERA in the last ten days over 36.2 innings. Greinke is coming off a short stint on the IL. If he can't go far, Kansas City’s relievers have posted a 3.82 ERA over the last 10 days. The Royals don't have much to play for except being a spoiler. The Guardians need this game as Minnesota is breathing down their necks and the White Sox are still lurking.
