The USC Trojans and the Stanford Cardinal meet in a PAC-12 classic. USC blew out Rice in their opener, While Stanford blew out Colgate. USC went 4-8 overall and 3-6 in the Pac-12 last season but this is far from that team. Transfer quarterback Caleb Williams threw for 249 yards and two scores. Stanford went 3-9 overall last year and 2-7 in the Pac-12. For the Cardinal, quarterback Tanner McKee threw for 308 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick. The Trojans put up 538 yards of offense versus Rice, averaging 9.3 yards a play, with 27 first downs, and they went 5-of-7 on third-down tries and just one punt. Stanford had 497 yards, on 8.6 yards a play and 20 first downs. I think USC will only get better the more they play this season.
