The SMU Mustangs and BYU Cougars meet in the New Mexico Bowl. The Mustangs have won four of their last five games, while the Cougars have won three of their last five games. SMU has one of the best offenses in college football, with Tanner Mordecai at quarterback. Mordecai threw for 3,306 yards, 31 touchdowns, and just nine interceptions. They will be without their best receiver Rashee Rice for this game. BYU Cougars also have an explosive offense but their starting quarterback is questionable. if Hall can't go, BYU has two other quarterbacks but none of them have seen more than one snap this season. Without Hall, BYU will struggle to score and will rely on the running game to move the ball. If he does pay you can't expect him to be 100%. The Mustangs' offense has the ability to be explosive but will be without their star receiver. I don't see a lot of points in this one and the number is a little high.
