The Red Storm have won just twice in their last eight games and not having Mathis in the lineup will not make it any easier. They are just 1-7 against teams ranked in the top 75 of the KenPom rankings this season. Creighton is ranked 14th in KenPom and has been a different team with Kalkbrenner in the lineup. He gives them a defensive presence in the paint and offensively he stretches the floor and gives more space to the outside shooters. The Bluejays are shooting 49% from the floor at home while the Red Storm are shooting just 21.8% from the three-point line on the road. Creighton is 8-1 at home while St. John’s is 1-4on the road. I look for Creighton to pack the paint and dare St. Johns to make shots from the outside, something that has proven difficult for them.
