The Chicago White Sox take on the Colorado Rockies in another battle between the worst two teams in baseball. The Sox came away with a win yesterday. Chicago will start Jonathan Cannon with Colorado countering with German Marquez. Jonathan Cannon is 2-7 with a 4.59 ERA in 11 starts. The Sox are 1-3 overall in his last four starts. German Marquez is 3-9 with a 5.62 ERA in 17 starts this season. The Rockies are 2-3 overall in his last five starts. Cannon has lasted just three innings in each of his last two starts. Marquez has not allowed more than two earned runs in any of his last four starts, including two scoreless performances. I don’t like backing Marquez or the Rockies but he has been better than cannon.
