Ohio State has one of the better backcourts in the conference, but it doesn't have the size to contend with Michigan's seven-foot big men. The Wolverines will dominate in the paint and crush the Buckeyes on the boards. UM ranks 9th in second-chance conversion percentage and OSU is 251st in potential points allowed off offensive rebounds (vs. the average opponent), per Haslametrics. The Wolverines have better perimeter players, too, as the former Buckeye Gayle provides veteran experience, while Donaldson and Burnett shoot over 40 percent from long range.

Michigan can win this game straight-up. Ohio State has shown flashes of upside this season, but it's too inconsistent to trust in this spot. I'll back the Wolverines as slight underdogs on the moneyline.
