NEBRASKA-NORTHWESTERN UNDER 142.5
(NCAAB) Cornhuskers (NEB) vs. Wildcats (NW),
Total: 142.50 | -105.00 Under
Result: Win
The Wildcats are a slow-paced squad, ranking 321st nationally in schedule-adjusted tempo. They will look to dictate the style at home and, considering that they take exceptional care of the basketball (12th in turnover percentage), they should be able to slow down the game. With two key starters sidelined for the rest of the season, Northwestern lacks depth and scoring options. After a two-game road trip to the West Coast, they may be out of rhythm, too.

Nebraska is average-paced (186th in adjusted tempo) and doesn't attempt a lot of shots (295th in FG attempt rate), so it's unlikely to speed the game up much on the road. The Huskers have overperformed expectations on offense in four straight games, per Haslametrics, so I'm expecting a little offensive regression tomorrow, as well. The Wildcats are tough to score against at the rim (47th in average opponent near-proximity percentage) and don't give up many second-chance scoring opportunities (45th in average opponent second-chance conversion percentage), either.

These teams have been playing to the over, but I believe those trends will end in Sunday's Big Ten clash.
