Justin Verlander turned back the clock in his first start back from the IL, giving up just 2ERs through five innings as the Astros went down 4-1 to Boston. The thing that encouraged me the most was his six strikeouts against just one walk. He was on a pitch count last time of 75 but I wouldn't be surprised to see him stretch out a bit more tonight and make it through six innings.

Nola is having another solid season and has been very good at home. The Phillies haven't helped him much on offense and we've seen the Under cash in six of his last seven home starts.

We should see very good pitching on both sides today and we're catching a great number in 8.5.
