This game was scheduled long before Coach Prime hit town and you have to give Colorado credit because to is hard for the Bison to get a game with an FBS team. After beating three straight Big 12 opponents, in 2022, Arizona was the first FBS school to give them a game in almost ten years. After winning nine of the last 13 FCS championships, NDSU has been called the "Alabama of FCS." That moniker probably doesn't do them justice and just how dominant they've been.

The Buffs have a ton of talent at the skill positions but they have a ton of new guys in the trenches on both sides of the ball. They may gel later in the season but I expected some growing pains in the first game and I expect this disciplined Bison squad to exploit them. NDSU is 4-1 vas FBS teams in their last five tries and I think they'll be able to rise to the occasion tonight. In the end, they may not win but they should keep it to a single score game.
