Point Spread: 3.50 | -102.00 Jets (NYJ) (Away)

This is a 10* NON-CONF GOM on the Jets.
With nearly 65% of the early public money on the 49ers, this one naturally appeals to my contrarian nature.
There are plenty of question marks surrounding Aaron Rodgers as he makes only his second regular-season start for the Jets. He's had plenty of time now though to re-acquaint himself with his offense.
I really like San Francisco I think that it's once again going to take the NFC West once it's all said and done. But it's off a Super Bowl loss and teams that have lost in the SB have struggled the following year traditionally (remember, San Fran went just 6-10 after losing Super Bowl 54.) It's been a long off-season, but that collective disappointment is still fresh on the minds of the home side.
I think NY can slow down this potent 49ers offense. The Jets ranked third in defensive EPA, including fourth in dropback defensive EPA per play.
Rodgers has faced the 49ers nine times and won six times, throwing for 20 TD's to just two picks.
This one has the "feel" of whichever team has its hands on the ball last will win the game, and because of that, I'm grabbing the points.
The play is the NEW YORK JETS.
Good luck, NP
