This is a 10* NLCS TOY on the UNDER Dodgers/Mets.
We're down to the nitty gritty in the MLB season, with just a few more games to go.
As the series shifts from the West Coast to the East Coast, I'm going to suggest a play on the UNDER.
Both games in LA went OVER the number, but with the shift in venue I also think we'll see a shift in the overall dynamic of this one and I look for these capable scheduled starting pitchers to take center stage so to speak.
The Dodgers are going with Walker Buehler, who is out for redemption after getting crushed by the Padres in Game 3 of the NLDS. But, Buehler has the experience and pedigree to get things turned around and I think he'll be much sharper this time around.
Luis Severino is so far 1-0 with 4.50 ERA in the playoffs for the Mets. He's looked really good actually, allowing a combined seven runs over two starts and posting a sharp 10 to 2 strikeout to walk ratio at the same time.
I like these bullpens and I say these starters are posied to go deep.
While the first two games flew well OVER the number, everything points to Game 3 now going the other way, so I'm rolling with the UNDER in this one.
Good luck, NP
