Point Spread: -2.00 | -107.00 Georgia State (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on Georgia State.
When the smoke clears at the end of this one, we look for the home side to find a way to get the job done. Georgia State is 4-6, but is coming off two straight wins, including a 24-10 victory over South Alabama last Saturday. Troy is just 3-7 and is coming out of its bye-week after falling to Georgia Southern 45-10, QB Brandon Silvers struggled, finishing with 134 passing yards and an INT. Conversely, Panthers' QB Nick Arbuckle has been heating up large of late, he would lead his team to two TD drives of at least 75 yards in the first two possessions of the fourth quarter in the win over South Alabama, throwing for 311 yards and a TD in the end. And that was on the heels of a 471 passing yards game in a 41-19 win at Texas State. Georgia State also looked stout defensively, allowing a total of just 284 yards. With two games left, the Panthers still have a shot at attaining six victories and with a chance to avenge last season's 41-25 setback to the Trojans, we definitely like GEORGIA STATE to find a way to get the job done at the end of the afternoon.
