Detroit is coming off a 147-144 four OT victory over the Bulls on Friday and despite having had three days off to recover, we believe the team will come out flat to open this one. And Miami plays with revenge here after falling 104-81 in Detroit on November 25th, veteran Dwayne Wade was held to a season-low two points on 1 of 9 shooting. The Heat have won four of five after Sunday's 116-109 victory over Portland, overcoming a ten-point halftime deficit to secure the victory. Miami has been sharp at home, particularly on the defensive side of the ball where its held its opponents to just 31.8 percent shooting from behind the arc to rank among the league leaders in that defensive category. Note that Detroit has seen the total go UNDER the number in four of five this year off an upset win as an underdog, in four of six following a divisional contest and in eight of 14 on the road, while Miami has seen the total stay below the posted number in seven of eight his year following a non-conference contest, in 12 of 14 in trying to revenge a loss vs. an opponent and in ten of 13 vs. teams with winning records.
