MLB Tuesday 8* Philadelphia Phillies Money Line -160 or -165 vs Pittsburgh Pirates @ 6:40 ET - After a subpar season by Nola standards, would it not be fitting for him to come out and throw another gem for the Phillies to punch their ticket to the post-season tonight. Of course it would here at home and I can absolutely envision that happening no matter whom the Pirates put on the mound for this one. The veteran Philadelphia right-hander is coming off a great start and that was at Atlanta against the Braves. Nola certainly can get the job done here at home against a Pirates team that is not nearly on Atlanta's level. Pittsburgh is a scrappy team but they are 33-57 against teams with a winning record this season! The Phillies, on the other hand, enter this game 45-28 against teams with a losing record this season. Also, the Phils have won 5 straight games and I look for them to stay red hot right here and clinch a post-season berth. Keep in mind a 10* at -128 juice is the same risk amount as a 8* at a -160 price. This is worth a 8* play in my book and I expect another Phillies winner for us here! 8* PHILADELPHIA -160 to -165
