Right now KC is tied with Texas as the hottest teams in the American League and Philadelphia is the hottest team in the National League - in terms of current hot streaks. Kansas City has actually won 10 of 11 games and scored an average of 6 runs per game during this hot streak. The Tigers bullpen is not great and the Royals bullpen has been bad this season. I know Detroit is not known for scoring well but they have won 7 of 11 games and averaged 4.6 runs per game in those 11 games. We only need 8 runs here to be a winner and Greinke is 1-15 with a 5.37 ERA on the season. If it is Reese Olson for Detroit here, he has been pitching well. However, this Royals team is hot at the plate and playing with a lot of confidence right now.
