*10* PLAYBOOK on Iona.

The Iona Gaels are just one game back of first place Monmouth in the MAAC, and they will be on the road against one of the bottom feeders of the conference tonight. The Canisius Griffins have lost three straight, one of those at home to Sienna. My money is on the visitors in this one.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Griffins have failed to cover the spread in seven of their last 10 overall, and they were blown off the court in a 99-78 loss to Sienna in their last home game. They've only covered the spread once in their last five home games.

2. Battle on the Boards - Rebounding is a big issue for Canisius, averaging just 26.8 rebounds per game over their last five. They were out-rebounded 33-25 in a loss at Rider in their last game, and they are likely to struggle on the glass tonight versus Iona. The Gaels are averaging 36 rebounds per game on the road this season.

3. X-Factor - A.J. English is one of the premier talents in the MAAC, and Iona's senior guard is averaging 22.3 points per game. He scored 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting in a win at St. Peters his last time out.
