After losing six straight at Rogers Arena, the Canucks are coming off consecutive home wins over Colorado and Ottawa. They host the San Jose Sharks tonight, and San Jose has lost three of their last four. The Canucks aren't really in the playoff race, while the Sharks are just two points clear of Colorado, who occupy the eighth and final spot. I like the visitors as they have a lot more to play for.

1. Previous History - The Sharks have owned this series, winning 12 of the last 16 meetings. They've won four straight trips to Rogers Arena.

2. Special Teams - San Jose has the NHL's 3rd ranked power-play, converting on 22.5 percent of it's man-advantage opportunities. Vancouver owns one of the league's worst power-plays, converting on just 17 percent of it's chances.

3. X-Factor - The Sharks have the best road record in hockey, going 21-9-2 away from the Shark Tank.
