The Fairleigh Dickinson Knights finished second in the NEC, and they will face the St. Francis Red Flash in the first round of the NEC Tournament. St. Francis finished with a losing record, and were .500 in conference play (9-9). My money is on the Knights.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Red Flash lost five straight to finish the season, and two of those losses came at home. They scored an average of just 68 points on 37.6 percent shooting in those games.

2. Home Cookin' - The Knights score an average of 81.5 points on 48.3 percent shooting on their home floor. They have been shooting the ball well over their last five games, hitting 47.9 percent from the field.

3. X-Factor - All five starters scored in double figures when the Knights beat St. Francis 86-82 in the last meeting between the two teams.
