The New Jersey Devils put an end to a three-game skid when they defeated Nashville in overtime at home yesterday. Tonightthey're on the road at Dallas though, and I think the Stars are looking good to end a four-game slide of their own by winning this contest.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Situational - The Devils are not only playing on back-to-back nights, this will be their third game in four nights and they're 4-9 in their last 13 in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation. The Stars on the other hand have had two full days off since their last match-up and are 16-5 in their last 21 games playing on two days rest.

2. Previous Meetings - The Devils defeated the Stars 3-2 in overtime home in New Jersey on Jan. 2, but they've lost six of the last eight meetings in Dallas. The Stars should have the motivational advantage as they seek to tie up the two-game season series.

3. X-Factor - New Jersey had scored a total of two goals through the three defeats prior to Thursday's 5-4 OT win.
