ROGERS THURSDAY TRIFECTA (WITH 10* TOTAL!)
(NHL) Winnipeg vs. Detroit,
Money Line: -185.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Win
The Detroit Red Wings are coming into Thursday's match-up against the Winnipeg Jets looking to avoid a fourth straight regulation loss for the first time in four years. The Jets are even worse for wear though with only one win in their past six games, and I'm backing the home team at Joe Louis Arena.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Red Wings are a solid 5-1-1 in the past seven contests in front of the home fans. The lone regulation loss came against the best of the west the Chicago Blackhawks while Winnipeg is one of the bottom dwellers in the conference.

2. Situational - The Jets are coming off a five-game homestand, but the schedule has been tough as they'll play their fourth game in six nights tonight. They're 2-7 in their last nine in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation and lost 4-2 against the Preds Tuesday. Winnipeg has lost each of its last six after scoring two goals or less in its previous game.

3. X-Factor - Detroit's Tomas Tatar tallied one goal in Tuesday's 5-3 loss at Columbus and has two goals and three assists in his last five outings.

Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Red Wings (6*)
