The Florida Panthers have cooled right off, winning just three of their last eight overall. They needed overtime to get past the Flyers on Saturday, and I think they'll be in tough as they travel to Brooklyn to take on the Islanders on Monday. My money is on the home team at the Barclay Center.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Isles are a very solid 20-8-3 on home ice this season, and they've won five of their last six at the Barclay Center. The Panthers have also been better on home ice, and Florida has lost four of it's last five road games.

2. Special Teams - The Isles are on fire with the man-advantage, converting on 7-of-20 power-play chances in their last six home games. They also boast the league's 3rd ranked penalty killing unit, with a stellar 85.4 percent kill rate.

3. X-Factor - John Tavarez has found the net in each of his last three games, and he's averaging over a point per game on home ice this season.
