The Calgary Flames are going through an extremely rough patch and have recorded only three wins in their last 15 games. They'll host the white hot St. Louis Blues who are in a very different situation riding a six-game winning streak, and I'm backing the hotter team in this contest.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Calgary's Defensive Woes - The Flames have allowed an average of 3.7 goals per game through their last 15 contests and are conceding a league-high 3.1 goals per game for the season. The Blues' offense is firing on all cylinders as they've totaled 24 goals during their current winning streak.

2. Previous Meetings - The Blues have won each of the two previous meetings this season and have the chance to complete the sweep of the season series tonight. They've won five of the last seven meetings at the Saddledome.

3. X-Factor - St. Louis' Paul Stastny has a good record against the Flames scoring 20 goals and assisting 32 in 45 lifetime meetings. He's coming into this contest riding a three-game point streak.
