The Golden State Warriors escaped their seventh loss of the season as they managed to battle back from a nine-points fourth quarter deficit in Saturday's 123-116 home victory over Phoenix. A win should come easier when they host the hapless New Orleans Pelicans Monday night.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Road Woes - New Orleans have lost each of their firs three of a five-game road trip and this will be their third game away from home in four nights. They're 1-6 ATS in their last seven when visiting a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Golden State.

2. Steph Curry - The reigning MVP have scored a total of 69 points through his last two appearances and will be looking to celebrate his 28th birthday with another big performance in front of the home crowd at Oracle Arena. He's truly enjoyed recent meetings with the Pelicans and averaged 46.5 points in a pair of wins over the Pels back in October.

3. X-Factor - Golden State is 9-2 ATS in its last 11 games versus opponents from the NBA Southwest division.
