Rogers' 10* Underdog of the Week - 146-94-2 MLB Run!
(MLB) Washington vs. San Francisco,
Money Line: 108.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Win
The Giants will try to salvage a split in this home series versus Washington on Sunday, but they've seized the momentum after a 5-3 win yesterday afternoon. The Dodgers are sneaking up on San Francisco in the NL West, now trailing by just two games. The Giants can't afford to give up anymore ground, and I expect them to take care of business here on Sunday.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Gio Gonzalez will be on the hill for the visitors, and this looks like a tough spot for the struggling southpaw. Gonzalez (6-8, 4.44 ERA) allowed three runs on five hits and a pair of walks over 6.1 innings in a 7-6 loss to Cleveland in his last start. He's been clobbered in day games, going 1-2 with a 6.41 ERA in five starts in the afternoon.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Gonzalez has been hammered for seven runs on 10 hits over 10 innings in his last two starts at San Francisco. Angel Pagan has owned the lefty, going 4-for-8 in previous encounters.

3. X-Factor - Hunter Pence returned to the lineup yesterday, and he was 1-for-3 with a walk.

Selection: This is a play on the San Francisco Giants (10*)
