Seattle Mariners -110
(MLB) Seattle vs. Texas,
Money Line: -110.00 Seattle (Away)
Result: Loss
I will be riding with the Seattle Mariners on the road in this game. They are the better team, and they need to win these games against the Rangers to stay in the second AL Wild Card spot. The Mariners are also (6-4) in their last 10, as the Rangers are (3-7). Texas doesn’t have it rolling right now and they are struggling against LHP as well. Unfortunately for them, the Mariners will be starting LHP Marco Gonzales. He is (7-11) on the season with a 3.98 ERA, but he looked solid in his last start. He pitched for 6.0 innings and only allowed three earned runs, as he got the win against the Angels. He now has a chance to silence the Ranger’s bats, as they are hitting .190 and only scoring 3.71 runs per game against LHP in their last 10. They don’t have it rolling right now and the Mariners are going to take advantage. Seattle has also been one of the better defensive teams in the field this season. They have the highest overall fielding percentage in the MLB, and they are allowing the fifth least amount of runs per game. I also have a ton of faith in the Mariner’s bullpen, as they are allowing the ninth least amount of runs per game with 3.42. They will continue to silence the Ranger’s bats throughout this game, as this game will not stay close. I also don’t love Texas’s starting pitcher, as they will have Dane Dunning on the mound. He is (2-6) with a 4.04 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. The Rangers have stunk over the past few weeks, and I see them continuing to slide in this one. Take the Seattle Mariners Money Line and trust their pitching in this one.
