I will be riding with the St. Louis Cardinals in this matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Cardinals have been red hot at home over the past few weeks and I see that trend continuing in this one. They will also have the advantage on the mound, as they will start Miles Mikolas. He got roughed up in his last start, but he will be looking to bounce back at home in this one. Inside Busch Stadium, Mikolas is (4-2) with a 2.48 ERA. He has been lights out at home, as he will make it very difficult for the Brewers to consistently score early in this game. I also see the Cardinals having success at the plate, as they are scoring 5.10 runs per game against LHP in their last 10. They have it rolling at the plate and the Brewers won’t be able to keep them off the scoreboard in this one. Milwaukee will also start Aaron Ashby on the mound, as I am expecting him to struggle in this one. He is (2-10) on the season with a 4.32 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP. He has gotten lit up all season and he has been very bad on the road, as well. He is (1-7) with a 4.72 ERA on the road this season, as he has struggled inside of his opponent’s ballparks. That trend will continue in this one and the Cardinals will stay hot at home. (-140) feels too low to me, as I see the Cardinals walking away from this one with a W.
