I’m going to hammer the under (55.5) in this game between the Bears and the Cowboys. I know that both of these offenses have been cooking to start the year, but both of their defenses have also done a great job. Baylor is currently allowing 16.8 points per game and they impressed me against the BYU Cougars. Yes, they lost. But, their defense kept them in that game. They are only allowing 79.5 rushing yards per game, which will hurt the Cowboy’s offense. They are also only allowing 225 passing yards per game. Oklahoma State’s offense depends on the pass and I see the Bears getting pressure on their QB and making it difficult for the Cowboys to score. I also see the bears struggling to score, as Oklahoma State’s defense has also shown that they can get the job done. They are only allowing 376 yards per game and they are betting against the run. They are only allowing 111.3 rushing yards per game, which is exactly what Baylor will try to do in this game. Baylor is currently averaging 206 rushing yards per game, as this opens up their passing attack. I see the Cowboys loading the box and stopping the run, as neither of these offenses is going to go crazy in this game. Everyone has talked about both of these teams' offenses, but the defenses will be the story in this one. Hammer the under (55.5) and trust that this total is too high. Vegas released the line at 48.5, as they were expecting a low-scoring battle, as well. Take the under (55.5).
