(NCAAF) Kentucky vs. Ole Miss,
Point Spread: 6.50 | -110.00 Kentucky (Away)
Result: Win
I’m taking Kentucky (+6.5). The Ole Miss offense completely disappeared in the second half, as they allowed Tulsa to slither their way back into the game. Now, they face a tough Kentucky team. The Wildcats are scoring 31.3 points per game, as they have efficiently moved the ball through the air this season. Ole Miss is currently allowing 312.5 yards per game and I just don’t believe their schedule has been hard enough. They have beaten up on bad teams and now they will get their first SEC loss of the year. They haven’t played anyone good and they struggled against Tulsa last week. They will now get punched in the face at home, as Kentucky will be ready to air it out on their defense. I expect Will Levis to play great in this game, as he threw for four touchdowns in their last game. He will come into this game with confidence and he will torch the Ole Miss defense. I also don’t believe the Ole Miss offense will be able to move the ball on the Kentucky defense. They are only allowing 13 points per game and they are great against the run. They are only allowing 108 rushing yards per game, as their front seven has impressed me this season. They looked great against Florida and I see them dominating Ole Miss in this one, as well. Ole Miss relies on the run, if they can’t move the ball on the ground, then they are in a ton of trouble. That is exactly what is going to happen and Ole Miss will struggle to score enough points to get the win in this game. Taking the Wildcats ML is bold, so I am going to stick with the spread, as I expect this one to go down to the wire. I see the Kentucky offense making a few more plays and covering the (+6.5) points.
