This is a great spot for Clemson, as they were shaken up last week, but they still got the job done on the road. They also lost to NC State last season, as this will be a revenge game for the Tigers. NC State isn’t going to be able to slow down Clemson's passing attack, as they showed that they were lethal last week against Wake Forest. I loved the way DJ Uiagalelei played and I see him playing great in this game, as well. He has already thrown for 10 touchdowns this season and he has only thrown one interception. He is protecting the ball and finding his wide receivers down the field. NC State hasn’t played anyone like Clemson this season and their best win is against Texas Tech. They will now get dominated on the road in this one, as I don’t think their defense is as good as their numbers show. Yes, they shut down UCONN and Charleston South, but they haven’t faced a powerhouse team like the Tigers. Clemson also knows that they have zero chance of making the playoff if they lose this game. They will come out on fire and put up a ton of points early. NC State’s secondary isn’t as good as the numbers show, as I see Clemson efficiently moving the ball up and down the field. Beaux Collins and Will Shipley will continue to make plays for this offense and the Wolfpack won’t be able to slow them down. Clemson is the better overall team and as I said, they lost to NC State last season. They will be ready for this game and they will put their foot down early. Clemson still owns the ACC and I will believe that until someone can take them down. This is a bad spot for the Wolfpack and they are going to struggle on the road. Dabo Sweeney said that he is hoping that his secondary is healthier this week. As they should have their starting corner and safety back. If that is the case, I love this pick. NC State will struggle to move the ball against Clemson and they will continue to do nothing on offense. Clemson is the better team and they’ll be ready for this game. NC State’s passing attack doesn’t scare me like Wake Forest’s team did. The Tigers will shut down the run and the pass, as they will cover the spread in this game. Take the Tigers and lay the points (-7).
