I will be taking the Cowboys (-3) in this matchup against the Commanders. I like that they are at home and I see their defense being the difference in this game. They will be able to put pressure on Carson Wentz, which is when he struggles. Washington has struggled against Dallas in the past and I don’t see that changing in this game. Wentz was sacked nine times last week and five the week before, as this Cowboys defensive line is going to leave their fingerprints all over this game. The Commanders only scored 8 points last week and they’ve also struggled to run the ball. That trend will also continue, as Parsons and this Cowboys defense will be able to shut that down too. Dallas is only allowing 338 total yards per game and 202 through the air. I also see Wentz throwing a few INTs in this game, as he has already thrown three this season. Now, I’m buying into Cooper Rush, as well. He is yet to lose a game and he has shown that he can run this offense. I trust him to attack this Washington defense, as they haven’t been very good this season. They are giving up 27.3 points per game and 419 total yards. They struggle against the pass and the run, as the Cowboys will consistently move the ball down the field throughout this game. Dallas is also 4-1 ATS vs. Washington in the last five games in Dallas. They have their number and they will continue to dominate them this week. Like Richard Sherman said, “If Dak wasn’t making so much money, there would be a QB battle in Dallas”. Rush can get the job done and the Cowboys will score enough points to win this game. I expect Pollard, Zeke, Gallup, and Lamb to have big games in this one. Hammer the Cowboys (-3).
