I’m going to take the Cardinals (-105) on the road in this matchup. They are a great road team and Kliff Kingsbury has been incredible against the spread since becoming the head coach of the Cardinals. The Panthers are also going to struggle on the offensive side of the field. McCaffery has been listed on the injury report all week and I don’t see him going crazy in this game. The Cardinals are only allowing 102 rushing yards per game, as they held the Raiders to just 80 rushing yards in week two of the season. I also see Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offense starting to come together. They are scoring 20.7 points per game, but they are averaging 389.7 yards. They have shown that they can move the ball through the air and on the ground, as they are throwing for 265 yards per game and running for 105 more. Murray will make a few plays with his feet and his arm and help carry his team to victory in this game. Marquise Brown and Murray are also becoming more and more comfortable with one another. Last week, he caught 14 targets for 140 yards. I also thought they held their own against the Rams last week. They struggled against the pass, but they kept the run in check. I also don’t see Baker Mayfield being a threat. He has struggled this season and his only big play last week was a 70 yard screen. They are only scoring 20.7 points per game and averaging 298 yards. The Panthers are averaging 183 passing yards per game, as the Cardinals secondary will finally have a chance to show up. I’m not impressed with the panther’s schedule so far this season either. They’ve played some weaker offenses and now they’re going to have their hands full with Murray and the Caridnal’s offense.
