I love the Astros in this game. They will have Cristian Javier on the mound and he has been an absolute beast over the past few weeks. He currently has a (5-3) record, 2.73 ERA, and 1.05 WHIP rating. He also no-hit the Yankees for 7.0 innings in his last outing. He has it going right now and this Angels batting lineup doesn’t stand a chance. L.A. is scoring the 20th least amount of runs per game and they have the 21st lowest overall team batting average. They will struggle to reach base all night and won’t score enough runs to win this game. The Astros bullpen is also one of the best in the league, as they are allowing the second least amount of runs per game. The Angels will be starting Michael Lorenzen on the mound and I don’t have a ton of confidence in him. He has a 6.14 ERA on the road and won’t be able to keep this Astro’s lineup from scoring. In his last two starts, he allowed nine combined earned runs in 8.0 innings. This game isn’t going to stay close and the Astros will stay hot. Take them, Money Line.
