Los Angeles Dodgers -1.50
(MLB) San Diego vs. LA Dodgers,
Point Spread: -1.50 | 127.00 LA Dodgers (Home)
Result: Win
I will continue to back Tony Gonsolin this season. He currently has a (9-0) record, 1.58 ERA, and a .85 WHIP rating. San Diego is still without one of their best hitters and I don’t see them scoring enough runs to keep this game within the run line spread. Los Angeles is also scoring the most runs per game and they have the ninth-highest overall team batting average. This team doesn’t have many weaknesses and they are very tough to beat when they have a guy like Gonsolin on the mound. The Padres will also be starting Blake Snell, as he has continued to struggle this season. He is currently (0-5) with a 5.60 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP rating. This Dodgers offense is going to take advantage of this and continue to score all night. Nobody has figured out how to stop the Dodgers when they are at the plate, as they have so many guys that can generate a big hit at any given moment. In the field, the Dodgers are also one of the best teams in the league. They are allowing the third least amount of runs per game, as they don’t make many mistakes in the field and their pitching remains dominant. L.A. is coming off a series loss and will be looking to take their anger out on the Padres. Pick the Dodgers and lay the run line spread (-1.5).
