I will be riding with the Boston Red Sox on the road against the Cubs in this game. Boston blew a lead yesterday and they won’t want to lose two in a row to the Cubs. They will be starting Josh Winckowski on the mound in this one. He has a (3-1) record this season, 3.60 ERA, and a 1.45 WHIP rating. The Red Sox have also won the past three games that he has started on the mound. He has only allowed four combined runs in his past three games, as well. The Cubs will be starting Alec Mills, as he hasn’t spent much time on the mound this season. He is currently (0-1) with a 9.87 ERA, and a .173 WHIP rating. The Red Sox are scoring the seventh most runs per game and they have the highest overall team batting average. They will hit Mills early and often in this game and the Red Sox will slowly pull away. The Cubs are also allowing the 26th most runs per game. They struggle on the mound and in the field. I just don’t see the Red Sox losing two in a row two these guys.
