I love the Yankees in this game. The Guardians are starting Triston McKenzie on the mound and he has not impressed me this season. He currently has a (4-6) record, 4.03 ERA, and a 1.05 WHIP rating. This Yankees batting order is too deep and too talented for McKenzie to hold. In his last two starts, he has given up a combined 13 earned runs in 10.1 innings pitched. I don’t trust him on the mound and the Yankees should score a ton of runs during this game. They are scoring the most runs per game, as they can score multiple different ways. They can string hits together to create a big inning or they can change the game with one swing of the bat. They are averaging the most home runs per game this season. The Yankees have also been solid in the field. They are allowing the least amount of runs per game and they have committed the third least amount of errors this season. They are too clean in the field and on the mound, as the Guardians don’t stand a chance in this game. The Yankees are also starting Jordan Montgomery on the mound. He has a (3-1) record with a 3.27 ERA. His team has won the past five games that he has started and this game isn’t going to stay close.
