Mets over Nationals- The Mets didn't score an earned run on Monday and still managed to defeat the Nationals as two miscues by their shortstop led to three runs for New York. Washington opened the season with three players on the disabled list and their offense suffered their first time out. The Mets will send Jacob deGrom (9-6, 2.69 ERA) who is off an outstanding spring (4-0, 2.08 ERA) to the hill and he's earned his position in this rotation. Last year after a 1-5 beginning in nine starts deGrom posted an ERA of 1.90 in his final 12 outings. Take the METS!
