Yankees over Mets- The Mets were able to tie their team record for consecutive wins with 11 but weren't able to get by the Yankees last night as the Bronx Bombers crushed the ball like it was old times. This afternoon the upstart Mets send their ace Matt Harvey (3-0, 3.50 ERA) up against veteran C.C. Sabathia (0-3, 4.35) as the Yankees have now won seven of their last eight. Sabathia is 0-3 despite allowing only two runs in his last outing against Detroit and is 3-1 with a 2.14 ERA in five career starts against the Mets. The Yankees are not pleased that the Mets have stolen their New York thunder and look to get back on top in the City once again. Take the YANKEES!
