Brewers over Mets- Granted 'we' had the Brew Crew yesterday in the Mets postseason clinching victory but that was yesterday. Today, after a night of celebrating for making the playoffs for the first time since 2016 New York's intensity may be down a notch and Milwaukee is getting desperate as they are 46-50 since June 1. The Monday loss makes it harder for the Brewers (78-69) to join the Mets in the playoffs. Milwaukee is now 2 1/2 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the race for the third and final NL wild-card spot. Brewers left-hander Aaron Ashby (2-10, 4.58 ERA) will get the start against Mets right-hander Carlos Carrasco (15-6, 3.70 ERA). Mets are just 5-16 in the last 21 meetings in Milwaukee. Take BREWERS!
