Badgers (-) over Golden Gophers- I can not remember a Wisconsin team that has been in this position before, needing a win and strong run through the Big Ten Tournament to qualify for the Big Dance. They have been very consistent over the years taking pride in having one of the best defenses in the nation. Although they have slipped a bit they still only are allowing just 63.7 PPG but their offense hasn’t picked up any slack at all scoring just 65.0 PPG. The goof here is that Minnesota is one of the worst shooting teams in the country and that includes all aspects including Free Throws where they barely make over 60% (61.7% to be exact). The Golden Gophers just ended a 12-game losing streak with a buzzer beating shot against Rutgers and that is it for them. They shot their load and their season is finished and they know it. Gophers 4-9-1 ATS after a SU win. Take WISCONSIN!
