The 5-7 Rockets visit Memphis tonight to take on the Grizzlies.
The Rockets fired Kevin McHale and interim head coach J.B. Bickerstaff got off to a 1-0 start with Houston outlasting Portland 108-103 in OT on Wednesday, behind James Harden's 45 points. Harden is not shooting the ball well and Dwight Howard has been MIA this year as he played 40 minutes but still scored only 7 points and the Rockets were down double digits most of the game.
Mario Chalmers isn't the only one who has helped boost Memphis' recent production. Mike Conley has averaged 21.0 points in the last two games. As he was previously at 12.5 and Jeff Green has averaged 20.5 in two games since moving into a starter's role. Let's also not forget that the Grizzlies still feature 2 great big men with Gasol (16.3 ppg -6.2 rebounds) and Randolph (14.5 ppg -8.7).
Look for Memphis to have their way tonight and win by double digits at home.
