A's starter Montas has been pitching well his last few starts since getting tagged for 8 earned runs against Texas. He has only allowed 3 homeruns in his last 7 starts, which is impressive. In his last start vs. Houston he did manage to allow 7 hits and 1 homerun so I expect a better outing from him today. On the flip side you have Lance McCullers Jr. who has been dealing this year. He comes in with a 6-1 record and a 2.97 ERA.
With a day game following last nights game we might also see a few starters get the game off for rest.
I think we see a lower scoring game and this one to stay UNDER THE TOTAL.
