The Diamondbacks swept and upset the Philadelphia Phillies in impressive fashion on the road. Tyler Gilbert is coming off a no-hitter in his 1st start.

There’s no beating around the bush that the Diamondbacks have been terrible on the road. Granted, they’ve struggled everywhere else this season as well, but they have only won 14 games away from Chase Field. That’s a big problem when heading to Mile High, where the Rockies go from bad to playoff contenders. Colorado has been very good at home and now a rookie off a no-no now having to pitch in high altitude for the first time= TROUBLE!



Gilbert will run into trouble in this meeting with the Rockies leading the league in batting average (.286) and OPS (.840) at home. This time, however, the Diamondbacks offense will fail to answer on the other end. I’m taking the Rockies in the opener on Friday night with a BIG WIN!
